Kinetic-QCL® Kinetic Chromogenic LAL Assay
The Lonza KineticQCL® Assay is a highly sensitive, quantitative endotoxin test designed for the detection of bacterial endotoxins in pharmaceutical and biologic products
- The assay is based on the Limulus Amebocyte Lysate (LAL) enzymatic cascade, where endotoxin activates an enzyme that cleaves a chromogenic substrate, producing a yellow colour measured kinetically at 405 nm.
- Featuring a high sensitivity of the LAL method (0.005–50 EU/mL) with minimal product inhibition compared to gelclot or turbidimetric assays
